Visioning - It Sparks The Team 's Imagination
The Graphic Visioning process dramatically increases the effectiveness
and productivity of groups by using illustrations to communicate strategies,
assist collaborative planning, capture big-picture thinking and clarify
future visions.
Teams charged with creating project objectives and organizational-change
initiatives will emerge with powerful and effective visual graphics
essential to keeping their teams and organizations informed.
The common experience of generating visual templates together establishes
pictures of a shared history, assesses current conditions and
engages group members in creating visions for the future.
First steps! A facilitator led dialogue begins the shared vision created
by the whole team.
Use Graphic Visioning for Success when you are:
Creating a strategic plan
Identifying action steps and new team goals
Creating a mission statement and value objectives
Clarifying change in direction
Building collaborative team spirit
Getting everyone on the same page
Outcome
The benefit of a strategic plan documented by graphically represented
action steps is that valuable knowledge can be transferred clearly to
other team members, clients and customers.
Visual templates and conceptual models can be used continually for referencing
by the entire organization. As a result all members of the organization
can work in collaboration knowing they are moving towards a similar
goal.
Broad-based virtual teams can work in open collaboration in response
to specific needs of complex projects with a clear picture of the current
situation.
Setting and Program Design
Facilitators collaborate with team members in both guiding and recording
the dialogue and strategic planning of the group. This process
takes place in-house or in retreat settings, often following the Team
Development Program and the New Leadership Integration program. Graphic
visioning programs are presented in 1/2 day to 4 day designs throughout
the U.S.
The collaborative product includes documentation of key planning in
a step-by-step procedure that leads to a well-defined visual product.
Through a teaming dialogue process that emerges from cooperation and
focus, the mix of team history, mission, goals, values, challenges and
future visions are captured in a dynamic, fun, high energy environment.
Nothing stops an organization faster than people who believe that
the way you worked yesterday is the best way to work tomorrow.
